Deeply Rooted in Six Counties

To be able to reach out into our communities, we each need to be deeply rooted in God’s word. For the next year, we’d like to encourage New Life Church to commit to spending time reading the Bible daily. We’ve set a goal for us to reach together and we have some helpful tools that you can use if you’d like.

By May of 2021, together we will have read 52,000 chapters of the Bible and in the process our love for God and others will have deepened. We believe that one of the key ways that we grow as Christians and as a church is to immerse our hearts and minds in the life-changing truths of God’s Word. The coming year holds much uncertainty in how we can gather and how we are able to interact with our neighbors. One thing we know for sure is that we have been given an unfailing foundation in the Bible and we want to make studying God’s Word a major focus of our church and our lives. During this pandemic and when it is over we want to be firmly planted and ready to reach out!

We invite you to tell us how many chapters you read this year so we can reach our goal of 52,000 chapters as a church family. You can track any chapters that you read. If you aren’t sure where to start, we have a year-long Bible reading plan that you can find below. (It is based on the F260 Reading Plan at www.replicate.org.)

This checklist can be kept in your Bible and brought back to the church at the end of July so we can see how many chapters to add to the progress of reaching our goal. No need to put a name on it - we’re just watching the overall number! If you are not coming to the church building, you can submit your number with the button above or call the church office (886-1977).
