Transgenderism | What the Bible Says

What is transgenderism? Is it something that my kids are hearing about in school? Did you know that very recently there has been a surge of young boys and girls claiming to have gender confusion? What does the bible have to say about it? The primary reason that we want to address the issue of transgenderism is because we love people and desperately want them to know the liberating truth of God's Word. We hope you will join us on Sunday, January 10th, as we talk about what the bible has to say about transgenderism.

Concert of Prayer | Sunday, Jan 10 at 6:00pm
Join us to pray for our nation, our community, and the church.

Our nursery is open!

We’ve made plans for additional safety and cleaning procedures and we are looking forward to welcoming children age 0-2 into our nursery area during both services and our Sunday School hour.

Sunday School classes for all ages meet at 10:00am. Please join us!

The adult class that meets in the sanctuary will be starting a new study in the book of Romans on Jan 3. The Book of Romans, authored by the apostle Paul under the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, has been described as the most influential letter in the world. Examining its pages together, we'll propel from the depths of our brokenness to the greatness of God’s grace; from the dimensions of God’s plan to the details of daily living. There are no books, or guides, but bring your Bible and an expectant heart.

We encourage you to fill out the online Friendship Register when you worship with us online or in person. You can share prayer requests, ask questions about our ministries, or just let us know that you’d like someone to contact you.

Deeply Rooted in God’s Word Together

From June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021 we will be focused on intentionally setting aside time to read God’s Word. We have some tools for you as well as ways to let us know what you've been reading so we can track our progress as a church family. We'd like to read 52,000 chapters this year!

We have reading cards for December - January! You can pick up reading plan cards in the foyer. We also have a basket for completed cards. If you’ve been letting us know how many chapters you’re reading through our online form, we don’t need the cards back - we don’t want to count the chapters twice. But if you haven’t told us yet, we really want to record your numbers so we can reach our goal of 52,000!

You can track any chapters that you read. If you aren’t sure where to start, we have resources to help on our website.

New Women’s Bible Study

Tuesday mornings, 5:45am, beginning January 26

The opening lines and chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word.

With teaching videos, we’ll dive into the first 11 chapters of Genesis by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

Please sign up by January 12 so we can order books.
